Standards to be called RICH in Pakistan – (RICH V/S POOR)

…and yes I am a big critic for my own country, because I believe that critics are the biggest motivators….!

The situation of this country was excellent in 1990’s but is at worst in 2012

“A MUST WATCH VIDEO”

Where we see poor people who have lost their homes, animals and income etc in previous years due to earthquakes and flood incidents there is another class as well in the same region who does not care what has happened and enjoy their lives.

It is a matter of “SHAME” to all of us that we belong to such a society where helping people, needy and poor is something called “BEING ELITE” “RICH” “SOUND” and what not. Lets say it this way that people who are helping needy people are not doing it because they want to but they help so that they can tell others that “THEY HAVE HELPED”. The question is Is it really important to mention things (Good Things) one is doing for the society and most of all his brothers and sisters who are sitting beneath the sky and do not have any thing to eat and drink?

On the other hand it could not be denied that still there are few people who are sincere to what they do and do not label things to have a bit of superiority among others but the percent is rare and deflating.

Well to be honest there are standards to be called “RICH” in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. (Going out of Context) is it really and ISLAMIC Republic anyway..?

Correct me if I am wrong that – Having latest model car especially ( CIVIC, TOYOTA etc) isn’t it the STANDARD TO BE CALLED “RICH” ?

Correct me if I am wrong that – Having a house in Islamabad or living on rent in Islamabad, isn’t it the STANDARD TO BE CALLED “RICH” ?

Correct me if I am wrong that – Going to so called hangouts and markets in Islamabad, isn’t it the STANDARD TO BE CALLED “RICH” ?

Correct me if I am wrong that – Having Apple laptop (this mentality is so disgusting), isn’t it the STANDARD TO BE CALLED “RICH” ?

Correct me if I am wrong that – Going abroad for higher studies, isn’t it the STANDARD TO BE CALLED “RICH” ?

Correct me if I am wrong that – Having memberships in Lahore Gymkhana and Islamabad  Club, isn’t it the STANDARD TO BE CALLED “RICH” ?

Correct me if I am wrong that – Wearing branded cloths and shoes and bags and perfumes and lots of other S***, isn’t it the STANDARD TO BE CALLED “RICH” ?

Correct me if I am wrong that – Having relations with MNA’s and MPA’s, isn’t it the STANDARD TO BE CALLED “RICH” ?

Correct me if I am wrong that – Attending local universities (just because you want to look something, you want to have the life style, for the sake of fashion and trend), isn’t it the STANDARD TO BE CALLED “RICH” ?

Correct me if I am wrong that – Getting huge dowry (for boys’s family)  or taking huge dowry (For Girl and her Family), isn’t it the STANDARD TO BE CALLED “RICH” ?

Correct me if I am wrong that – Admitting children in so called (A level, O level) schools. isn’t it the STANDARD TO BE CALLED “RICH” ? this is true that the level of education is better but how many of us go for the level of education?

It is true that everyone in this world want to become rich and look rich, or make be not everyone but most of us, but the situation in Pakistan is something unbearable. I wonder why people say “proud to be a Pakistani” where their reputation in other countries is worst.

It is true that these people are exceptionally talented and educated but then the fact is what is the use of that exceptional talent if they do not care for other people residing with them in the same country, area, house, family etc….

The FACT is that people do not teach their children ( In Pakistan) to be down to earth, speak for your rights, do not be an oppressor to anyone, respect elders and love youngsters….or may be if few if them are teaching they are not taking it seriously and we all can see that THE STATE IS RUINING.

Where people are dying from diseases and shortage of food etc elite is busy in choosing clothes, cars, parties, perfumes and world tours.

I had tears in my eyes when I listened the National Anthem.

Very good blog! Do you have any hints for aspiring writers? I’m hoping to start my own site soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you recommend starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m totally overwhelmed .. Any ideas? Kudos!
